Founded in Hamburg, Germany, in 1970, TEWS has been a pioneer in Moisture and Density Measurement Technology for over 50 years. Now led by André Tews and Dr. Tim Richter, the company remains a market leader, known for its innovative, patented microwave technology that provides unmatched measurement precision and reliability.

Foundation of TEWS Elektronik by Manfred Tews
The first computing data printer was manufactured.

Development of the first process-control-computers
for customer-specific applications in the wide field of process automation.

Distribution of Quadra Beam NIR moisture meters
Start of the development of moisture measurement instrument based on microwave technology.

The first microwave moisture meter was sold.
